I decided to try out Helix a couple of weeks ago and i couldn’t quit.

I never used a terminal editor as my main editor before, gave nvim a try but I’m too dumb to set up the plugins and remember the bindings.

Because i’ve been using zellij, I wanted to give a terminal code editor a try again, and I discovered helix on yt one day and really liked that you don’t need to install plugins for basic stuff, and adding lsps in my nixos setup is super ez.

I ended up making a video yapping about my first week with helix and how i use it with zellij and yazi.

Now, since all these cool tools I use everyday are written in Rust, it kinda makes me want to check out how is the dev experience with this language.
